Fstoppers.com has a nice selection of photographs by actor Jeff Bridges, whom it says is up for an award this week for his still photos. As the happy owner of one of Bridges’ books, I can attest to their serendipitous pleasures. The one here appears to be from “The Big Lebowski” but he’s shot using a Widelux camera for nearly 30 years now on every film set he’s ever been on. It’s great stuff. The challenge? Push the limits of the ultimate movie-making HD-SLR to create a short movie as frightening as it is drop dead beautiful. Interesting SLR camera moviemaking project by a couple of top moviemakers. As a Nikon user myself, I’m particularly interested in what the company is doing with kind of sponsored project.
