R.I.P. to the great movie composer Marvin Hamlisch, who died today after a short illness at the age of just 68. 
Personally, I’m a sucker for the theme song for “The Way We Were,” but he also created the music for “The Sting,” “A Chorus Line,” “Sophie’s Choice,” “The Spy Who Loved Me” and so much else.

R.I.P., Nora Ephron and some of the reactions from Deadline and beyond

The passing of author/screenwriter/director/essayist/playwright/etc/etc/etc Nora Ephron has sparked an explosion of reactions about her impacts and achievements in films such as “Silkwood,” “When Harry Met Sally,” and “Sleepless in Seattle.”
