In Hollywoodland, this is a Very Big Deal, and Deadline’s indefatigable founder and editor-in-chief Nikki Finke had it first: the hugely successful head of Warner Bros. TV, Bruce Rosenblum (pictured) is out, and won’t be replaced as part of a shakeup of the unit that provides half the profits of the entire studio.
Rosenblum lost out recently in the derby to take over the studio to digital chief Kevin Tsujihara, and his departure in some ways can hardly be seen as a surprise, given that this is frequently what happens to the executive who loses out in such contests. Nikki has all the juicy behind-the-scenes details here:

Ben Affleck is already back at work, and lots of it, and with material from the writer, Dennis Lehane, whose “Gone Baby Gone” was the basis for his first directorial debut. Now, with an Oscar for producing “Argo,” Affleck is back at the producer/director/star/screenwriter gig with another Lehane property.

Have to say that, given the quality streak Big Ben’s been on in recent years, I’m really looking forward to what he does with this latest project. How about you? Stoked to see his project?
