In Hollywoodland, this is a Very Big Deal, and Deadline’s indefatigable founder and editor-in-chief Nikki Finke had it first: the hugely successful head of Warner Bros. TV, Bruce Rosenblum (pictured) is out, and won’t be replaced as part of a shakeup of the unit that provides half the profits of the entire studio.
Rosenblum lost out recently in the derby to take over the studio to digital chief Kevin Tsujihara, and his departure in some ways can hardly be seen as a surprise, given that this is frequently what happens to the executive who loses out in such contests.
