Universal has released five short and fascinating videos promoting Oliver Stone’s new film ‘Savages,’ each featuring a cast member and coloring in a bit more detail about the plot.

Based on what’s dangled here, we’ll be seeing a dark and violent movie (wouldn’t have expected that from Oliver Stone), with a couple of young drug dealers, the girlfriend they share, a vengeful matriarch of a Mexican drug cartel, an assassin and perhaps a few other odds and ends.  

Check ‘em out. They’re very well done, and very intriguing. Together, they provide some very interesting bits about the movie, in a unique approach. Do they make you want to see the movie?
