“In the end, it didn’t quite work,” says Deadline’s Nellie Andreeva, on the pilot for a revived “Munsters” TV show called “Mockingbird Lane.” Despite a solid cast, striking look, the “Pushing Daisies” showrunner and Bryan Singer directing, it looks, um, dead.

So, are you glad it’s not going forward? Deadline got SO much negative reaction to the casting of Jerry O’Connell (by all accounts, a very nice guy and experienced actor) that it’s amazing the villagers didn’t march on “Mockingbird Lane” with torches for him.
