Anyone who thinks awards don’t matter much in Hollywood should take a look at the ratings a week after “Homeland” swept the key drama categories at the Emmys: Its season premier opened up a whopping 60 percent last night. And it seemed to have taken veteran serial-killer drama “Dexter” along for the very wild (though very welcome at Showtime) ride.
